The PC received an improved and updated port of Silent Hill 2 in 2002, in the shape of Silent Hill 2 Directors Cut. This version of the game still runs on modern Windows PCs, 32 or 64 bit. It makes a firm point about PC gaming when you consider that the PC version, released in 2002, actually supports a higher resolution than the re-released HD collection did on the games consoles.
When gamers think about futuristic racing games, usually games like Wipeout or F-Zero spring to mind, where racers dash around the track in fantastical flying machines. Rollcage had an altogether different idea for the future of motorsport however. In this game, racers compete in buggies with huge wheels, that can freely flip upside down or drive over the ceilings of tunnels.
