Matt Groening’s slice of life animated sitcom officially holds the record as the longest running American animated series in history, which means there are video games about the dysfunctional family going all the way back to the early 90s. Back in 2003, Vivendi Universal published what many people consider the best Simpson’s video game ever, The Simpsons Hit and Run.
Thanks to a dedicated team of fan modders and tinkerers, playing this game in 2025 is, frankly, incredible. Get the low-down on how it performs and how you can play it on your PC or Steam Deck in this video.
